I loved how Sam instantly felt the need to stick up for Truman from the moment he laid eyes on him in his bumble bee costume in the field. Truman and Sam’s book is one I will for sure read again just so that I can connect with the sweet couple and all the sweet people that make up the chosen family. Lucy does a wonderful job in each book reminding the reader of that without it being to pushy. Ashter Valley is such a diverse place for a small town, but still has that small town feel. You do not need to read the previous books in the series to enjoy this little piece of honey Lucy has put into writing.
Sweet as honey was everything I exasperated it to be and more.
